Who
is Mountain Ridge Medical Office Solutions, LLC? Jeanette Henderson started Mountain Ridge Medical Office Solutions, LLC after
years of working in the medical insurance and billing fields. Jeanette
worked for several large medical insurance companies. She started as a mail
clerk 15 years ago and worked her way up to become a Senior Claims Examiner. She
knows how to read contracts and apply the payments to claims. She has had a lot
of experience coordinating benefits and spent a lot of time working with
Medicare, Medicaid, auto and workers compensation claims. As a Senior Examiner
she reviewed corrected claims and appeals made by provider’s offices and
adjusted claims as needed. Working for the insurance companies gave Jeanette a very good understanding of the problems that physician’s offices were encountering with their billing. She decided that provider’s offices could benefit from a company that dedicated itself to only billing and related issues. She took many classes on billing and coding and received her Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She maintains her certification by attending billing and coding seminars and classes offered by Medicare, BC/BS and others. She belongs to the following associations that provide her with a wealth of resources, educational opportunities and a very large network of billing and coding professionals with which to consult.
